Police on Wednesday arrested four content creators for allegedly shooting videos inside a police station in Kilifi.

A police statement stated that one of the suspects approached a steward in the canteen and asked for permission to shoot videos.

The suspect was denied permission to shoot videos inside the station but together with three others they defied the order, the statement reads.

"He was denied but went ahead and stage-managed a prank together with his three accomplices. One suspect pretended to be drunk and got mugged/robbed by two other suspects who were on a motorcycle while another was recording," the police statement read.

Police said the video was later shared on a TikTok account bearing the title "wezi mbele ya police station" (Thieves in front of a police station) and another "man gets robbed off near a police station in Kilifi.
